Gentle cleaning is necessary as the protective coating that faces the sunlight is very fragile & can be damaged easily if not handled by a professional. Mossbrothers uses NW apple wash streak free surfactant & filtered water to clean the surface the solar panels, leaving them clean with a mirror finish. We pre wet the pannels, apply our surfactant, lightly clean with a soft car wash brush, and thoroughly rinse with filtered water. Solar panels should be maintained & cleaned yearly for maximum efficiency.
